Weddings have a lot of moving parts. People run late. Timelines shift. Someone disappears right when we need them for family photos. And somehow, you're supposed to be enjoying yourself through all of it.
You shouldn't also have to manage your photographer.
We'll make a plan before the wedding, I'll give you direction when you need it, keep the photos moving when we have people to wrangle, and adjust when the day inevitably does something we didn't plan for.
You get to be at your wedding.

Hi, I'm Tiffany
I've been a photographer for more than 20 years, and before photography became my full-time world, I spent years in hospitality.
Turns out, that's ridiculously useful at weddings.
I know how to read a room, work with a lot of different personalities, keep things moving, and solve problems without making them your problem.
I've also spent the pasr few years photographing weddings for established photography companies before building Southern Light Weddings.
So while this brand may be new, I am very much not new to weddings.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE GOOD AT PHOTOS.
You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to practice your smile. And you definitely don't need to spend six months saving poses on Pinterest.
I'll give you direction when you need it — where to stand, what to do, how to move — so we can make the really damn good portraits intentionally.
Then you get to forget about the camera for a while.
Because your gallery should have both: the portraits you can't wait to put on your walls and the moments nobody could have planned.
A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME
I'm originally from Hawaiʻi, but New Orleans has been home for more than a decade.
I'm a mom, a traveler, an animal person, and considerably more comfortable around tattoos and swear words than wedding-industry perfection.
I've photographed people for most of my adult life, and one thing hasn't changed: you don't need to look, love, celebrate, dress, or build a family a certain way to belong in front of my camera.
Your wedding doesn't have to look like anybody else's.
It just has to be yours.
STEP 01
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR WEDDING
Start with the basics — your date, venue, what you're planning, and anything you already know matters to you.
You don't need to have every detail figured out yet.
That's kind of the point.
STEP 02
LET'S TALK
We'll talk through your day, what you want photographed, how much coverage makes sense, and any questions you have.
It's also a chance to make sure we click. You're going to spend a pretty important day with your photographer — you should actually like having them around.
STEP 03
MAKE IT OFFICIAL
Once you've chosen your coverage, a signed agreement and 25% retainer reserve your date.
Then we can start figuring out the fun stuff.
STEP 04
LET'S GET YOU IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA
Your engagement session isn't just about getting more photos. It's a chance for us to work together before the wedding and for you to see exactly how I'll guide you in front of the camera.
So when the wedding day comes, this part already feels familiar.
STEP 05
we make a plan
Before the wedding, we'll work through the photography timeline, family photos, portraits, and the details that matter to you.
We'll know what needs to happen and when — so you don't have to keep track of any of it once the day gets here.
STEP 06
go get married
This is the part you've been planning for.
You be with your people, marry your person, eat the food, have the drinks, hit the dance floor and actually experience the day.
I'll know the plan. You don't need to manage the photography.
STEP 07
RELIVE ALL OF IT
You'll get sneak peeks shortly after the wedding, followed by your full, professionally edited gallery.
The portraits you planned. The people you love. And a whole lot of things you didn't even realize were happening.
Now you get to see your wedding from the other side of the camera.
